What other desktop environments can I install ?

Hello Everyone,

I have been using this amazing HyDE setup for some time now, but what other desktop environments can I install ?

I was thinking on installing KDE Plasma... could you please give me some advice on how to achieve this?

these are dotfiles (user configuration) therefore it collides with another DE. I advised to use another user for another DE or just fix whatever looks broken.

@kRHYME7 for the proof of concept, how can I uninstall the HyDE ?

I would like to explore some more desktop environments, and then I can come back...

There's the uninstall.sh but it is not useful enough as I've said these are just dotfiles. so if ever you want to try another set of dotfiles pretty sure it will just overwrite Hyde

HYDE does not interfere with KDE Plasma I have tried it myself works fine but one needs to install KDE first then install HYDE ...I have been using custome arch with cachyos-bore-lto kernel myself . I just installed cachy os with KDE first then yay ed hyprland and then installed hyde with the install.sh works fine for me. But be ready to tinker with the config files a little on my system both DEs are working fine with the same user.
