That is good, but hard for contributors. Especially for the different platforms etc.

I know there are many web portals where you can add your project and offer contributors a good web interface for contributing languages. So they don't need to use git or so at all.

There has been no active participation in translations yet, so I haven't considered this option.

Well the thing is that the exact reason for that can be such a high barrier as there is currently.
That's why using such a platform usually lowers the barrier to entry and makes it easier to translate things.

I wanted to do it on the Weblate, but I ran out of empty seats. Will have to make another account, most likely.
