Welcome to the psrccensus wiki!

Project Goals:

The data science team is working on developing a set of tools for working with Census data. We’ve realized over the years that we have variety of data users and needs, and there isn’t really a one-size fits all approach, so we need a toolbox. The tools will make it easier to find, download, summarize, statistically analyze, prettify, visualize, and map Census for data in our region at any chosen geography. The tool suite includes: a point and click tool to automatically generate tables and maps, a set of SQL functions to analyze data within ArcGIS and Elmer, and an R function package for using R with Census data in our region.

This code base is for the R package to work with Census data.
