Hey everyone 👋
Here's a list of some of the tasks that contributors could tackle, in no particular order. This list will be regularly updated.
It is also possible to do tasks outside this list.
Tasks:
1. Set up a Minter contract and a frontend for a new domain partner
2. Update Punk Domains browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox) with new colors and domains
Check the list of domains in our docs to see which ones are missing from the extensions: https://docs.punk.domains/addresses/tld-addresses/
3. Set up
.limo
websites for existing punk domainspool.limo
project by @trmid: https://github.com/trmid/pool-limopool.limo
project was set up for the.pool
domain, which is owned by the PoolTogether DAO (running on the Punk Domains protocol, of course 🙂).limo
(which is fairly expensive), for example.site
,.space
,.website
,.xyz
etc. (you can contact me and I can make a purchase of a DNS domain)4. Try out soulbound domains on public testnets
5. Try out renewable domains on public testnets + adapt a frontend for renewables
6. Subgraph for Punk Domains
7. DAO tooling research
8. Ascii-only domain names
A function in the minter contract (or even a separate standalone contract that other minter or TLD contracts can use) which filters out non-ascii characters. Or at least checks whether a given string includes non-ascii chars or not. Some TLD owners may prefer to have domains with only ascii chars to avoid things like empty/blank characters.
If you have any other suggestion, feel free to share it in the comment section. 🙂
