Welcome to the pyControl discussion board.

This is a board for pyControl users to get support troubleshooting problems, suggest improvements to the system, or discuss any other pyControl related questions. Anyone can post and reply to discussions, you just need a GitHub account.

The pyControl docs have detailed information about using the system, and solutions to commonly encountered problems are detailed on the troubleshooting page. pyControl discussions were recently migrated from a google group to here, so it is worth checking to see if your issue has been discussed on the old board.

If you are posting for support with a problem using the system, it is recomended to attach your hardware definition file and an example task file to your post to help debug the issue.

You can use GitHub Flavoured Markdown to format your posts. To format Python code with syntax highlighting you put ```py ... ``` around your code snippets. For example:

```py
def add_one(x):
    return(x+1)
```

Is formatted as:

def add_one(x):
    return(x+1)
