Resource modules should use general parameters to calcualte resource availability, such as bg_radius instead of r_root. The respective plant module defines this parameters. So instead of transfering the geometry, we transfer this parameter. In case of Bettina and Kiwi, for example, bg_radius = r_root and bg_radius = zoi, respectively.
