The easiest way to get started is to use the installer. This is found in the releases. The file is called PynchNexaSetup-1.2.0.0.exe
(in this case version is v1.2.0.0
).
These are the indivisual installer steps:
This is the Pynch Nexa EULA, read carefully and decided if you want to agree.
This is the EVS LinX EULA, read carefully and decided if you want to agree. Nexa ships with the EVS LinX libraries that require you to agree to the EVS EULA (as per their agreement).
Nexa can run as a Desktop application with a UI or as a Windows service - you decide here how to start. This can be changed later.
Nexa can output Html for human consumption. To make the user experience recognizable to your organisation, you can spefify a service name and description, as well as landing page image and logo (displayed on all pages). By default 'vanilla' images are provided. The image are located in ProgramData folder (often C:\ProgramData
) then Pynch
, Nexa
, wwwroot
, img
. Replace these images with yours. If the name differs, correct the names in the config.ini file.
The root address is empty by default, but can be replaced with prefix, that will be visible in the root url of the service. So if you make root /abc
the service root will be http://<your ip>:8080/abc/v1
.
The port is 8080 by default. If you change it later, you need to alter the http reservations as Administrator. See here.
