What is the bug or the crash?

I'm uploading a large shape file. Only one portion of the shape file is showing on the map.

The shape file should cover the area to the north upto the road.

I have tried with several files all with the same issue.

@JCRanger100, thanks for reporting. May you please clarify where and how exactly are you uploading the layer to and provide detailed step-by-step instructions to replicate the issue?

@JCRanger100, the ESRI Shapefile file format can only store vector data, not images.
If I understand correctly, you have added, in a QGIS project, a raster layer (which format exactly?) created by en external third-party software, but it doesn't display the way you expect it to be.
I suggest you to check that the image was created correctly by the external third-party software. If the issue persist, you need to provide the raster layer file in order to verify if there is actually a bug in QGIS and try to fix it.
