dataset time instant columns can be multiple, without any relation between them (question then which one to use), or having relation (eg. start/end).
dataset temporality is not necessarily handled by instant columns, but we may have a column handling a period in ISO format
In term of R objects,
** Date or POSIX types can be detected as candidate columns usable for identifying the temporal extent
** Quid of character columns in ISO formats that are detected as Date/POSIX, eg period
