I'm wondering if it would be better to not use global options in the default installation instructions instead highlighting specifying the repos directly in install.packages? Currently the highlighted way will kibosh the default users repos for their entire session which can be easy to forget about and I could imagine causing issues with the larger universe such as ropensci.
