Controller keeps being detected despite being disconnected

DSAdvance freezes in a state where even when you close and reopen the application, it says "connected controllers: Sony DualSense (all functions)."

If i try to CTRL+c on the cmd, it says the following and remains stuck:

Controller 0 timed out
timing out thread
removing jc
deleting jc

How does this happen? After a long period of play? Or do you leave the program running, the controller goes to sleep, and then try playing again?
