Yeah, I think we should also have a toggle to turn on and off.

ok well that is a easy function to write, should we have a key turn it off
or a gui button?

Yeah we'll abstract it so that it can happen from GUI, hotkey assignment,
distance. We really could apply this to any object. Have an on or off
feature. And also have a load unload feature. Might be useful for having a
lot of objects and having them disappear as you zoom out.
