ui improvement needed. current design can get improved use material design. nd proper app detail page
tabs should be at botton.
github store is good it should have obtainium features also like updates etc?

Hmm i think it would be cool but immediately i cannot think about anything that i could change... Maybe in future when we have even more features i could add some stuff there but if you have some ideas you are welcome to tell about them but now i am making release because of f-droid (i think)

Add Favourite or Wishlist Option to track new releases of the favourite app.As my phone doesn't support some app to be installed and because of the storage issue it becomes difficult to download many app.But adding to favorites can help to track without actually installing it.

That’s a really good idea, thanks for suggesting it.

A favourites / wishlist feature fits the app’s goal very well, especially for tracking releases when you can’t install everything due to storage or device limits. I’ve added this to the roadmap and will explore a way to “star” apps inside Github Store and surface their new releases in a dedicated section in a future update.

@rainxchzed Just tested 1.5.1 from github, as icba to wait for F-droid. 😂
It runs much smoother now that it uses the digest list.

I think the new tab could also use a digest list and recently makes calls for some reason? Am I misunderstanding or shouldn't recently just be mostly stored data? If you store the "recently" data on the device, you can also let users browse previously viewed content, without having to make calls, essentially creating your own mini cache.

I believe another use also suggested listing apps installed by Github store, to more easily update?

This is shaping up to being quite the useful app. 😁
I ran out of requests clicking around in the interface, but next up is trying some installs. 😂

Ohhh — about the “Recently” tab 😭
You’re absolutely right to question it. That tab is actually meant to be “Recently Updated”, and that’s 100% my fault for not making it clear in the UI. Thanks for pointing that out 🙂

Your idea about caching recently viewed apps locally makes a lot of sense — that would improve both UX and network usage. I really like the idea of turning it into a kind of mini offline cache.

The suggestion about listing apps installed from GitHub Store for easier updates is also great — I’ve been thinking about something similar too.

There’s definitely a lot of work ahead, but that’s also what makes it fun 😁

If you don’t mind, could you please open these as Issues?
It helps me track them properly and add them to my project board — otherwise I might accidentally forget since discussions don’t appear in my Projects view:
