Using a Calendar to control a slot's PIN

If you'd like a PIN to be enabled/disabled on a schedule, you can use a calendar to define the schedule. The calendar platform will let you create simple schedules such as e.g. 9AM to 5PM every day, or only on the weekends, but it will also let you create more complex schedules as needed.

You will need to use an integration that supports calendars, like local_calendar, to create your calendar.

When configuring the slots in Lock Code Manager, you will have the opportunity to reference the entity ID of the calendar you want to use for scheduling. If there is an ongoing event at a given time, the integration will treat that moment as scheduled and will enable the PIN (assuming number of uses is disabled or enabled and >0, and the enabled switch is on).

Note that you can create separate calendars for all of your slots, or you can use a single calendar across multiple slots, it's up to you!
