I'm interested in using my BeatStep as a speed editor in DaVinci, along with the RtMidi library. After reviewing your excellent code, I was wondering if there's a way to structure it so I can use it as a macro pad.Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

However, I'm not sure this code will be of much use since it's very much entangled with the Ableton API
(except for the part defining the BeatStep Midi communication...)

I have little experience with RtMidi and no experience with DaVinci, so I'm not sure if I can be of much help...

However, if you run into any specific problems, feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do!

My idea is to make a universal macropad, with the part defining the BeatStep midi communication, RtMidi and mouse mapping to control the timeline and other functions in davinci (i dont see it API for davinci). i dont know where to start to integrate the BeatStep midi communication with RtMidi, if you give me a advice i appreciate that.
