ALSA errors

I have been able to resolve some errors with ALSA, but I am still getting quite a few but am not sure if they matter for this. Do you see any that would keep the program from working properly?

I'm also getting a similar have ALSA errors, but it's still working fine.

I see that the listening message, mentioned in the read me, isn't shown anymore. That probably happened in a recent change i made.

If it doesn't work, make sure that the recording is pointing to the correct audio device, as well as the application in your audio settings, e.g. pavucontrol.

If that doesn't help, you can try listing the devices using ./speech-typer-gui.py -l and selecting the correct one like pulse audio using e.g. ./speech-typer-gui.py -d 10.

Hello, sorry for the delay.

Ahh, i actually changed something in the Uberi /
speech_recognition library to make the language switching with VOSK API work, but of course that doesn't work for you since you don't have the change. (Uberi/speech_recognition#657 Sadly there doesn't seem to be much capacity to review to pull request atm.)

Anyways i just tested and it should work if you download a model and place it in a model folder in the speech typer directory like so:

$ unzip vosk-model-small-en-us-0.15.zip
$ mv vosk-model-small-en-us-0.15 model

The models are available here: https://alphacephei.com/vosk/models
Sadly language switching doesn't work like this with VOSK. It should work with the google backend though.

Since i was the only one using this i didn't notice, i'll update the read me.
