Crashing and Buzzing

Hey all!
I'm having both the known crashing and buzzing issues in FFXIII-2. I don't have any mods installed, just a clean install of the game. I'm on a laptop running Windows 11 with an RTX2060.
People have found that turning off surround sound will make the buzzing go away, but I don't have that option on my laptop, so its not a plausible fix for me. The other option to fix the buzzing is to use compatibility mode, but this patch fix doesn't work when the game is in compatibility mode.
So I can either fix the buzzing or fix the crashing, but I haven't figured out how to do both. Does anyone have any ideas?
