FF13 Crashes in Lake Bresha with patch but works fine without it #68

try the 4GB patch (instructions are in the README). Also, post logs. |
I have just installed the 4GB patch, it seems to be working fine now. Had an error the last time I used the patch but all seems good now |
Scratch that, seems as though the crashes are still there, not sure why or what went wrong. Would you be able to tell me where to find the logs? |
Are you using dxvk? I think your card is one of the AMD cards that crashes in this game (driver issues?). You need to use dxvk as a workaround (and bug AMD about it) check |

I have made sure to add the files correctly and have found that FF13Fix is causing the crashes that it is supposed to fix. Things such as the triple buffering and frame fixes all work, but it seems as though that crashing during cutscenes and fights occur both using the launcher, the img exe and in both windowed and fullscreen modes. I found that if I remove the patch files that the crashes stop but I lose access to the improvements that FF13Fix gives. If you are able to help with this that would be greatly appreciated!
