Using multi-fits with inactive filters leads to unexpected behavior:

  • A filter which is not active, does not reduce the displayed data but still sets the range of the multi fit
    • this behavior is actually not undesirable as it is a method of setting the fit position while keeping all data
  • With such a reduced fit, the color-range (at least in 1D) is not reduced which means all fits have a very similar color
