How can I consume particular package in app?

[This is not an issue, just a clarification]

Say, in the list of packages my application is only interested in particular package.
In my app's package.json should I include entire URL for the package lerna-tutorial/packages/usage ?
Or there is any other smarter way of doing this ?

Note : All my packages are local to my team, and I am not uploading them to npm.
