When adding github with subpath "/folder_name" double appends "//" in UI #6560

Describe the bug
Noticed that when i add a "/" into the path is adds a double "//" in the UI

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Connect with Github in UI
Select advanced options
"/some-folder"
see a "//" in UI

Expected behavior
Would look nicer to strip the extra "/"

additionally clicking this link should navigate to the actual repo folder not the top level
