Cannot clone trim-cpp submodule

I tried cloning, but without luck:

Unfortunately I do not have the source code to trim-cpp anymore. However, if I recall correctly, it was just a small piece of code that basically just trimmed whitespace from both ends of a string. Pretty basic stuff. I honestly don't remember why I wrote my own version. In fact, I think I just deleted that repository recently wondering why I even wrote it, not realizing it was needed in this repository.

If you wanted, you could get rid of the submodule (including it as a submodule was probably a bad idea anyway) and replace all the function calls to trim-cpp with something like this:

ltrim(rtrim(str_variable))

I would even accept a pull request if you did so :)

I haven't used Inkscape in quite some time, so I don't know how much help I can be there.
