describe the change
make bodacious berries quilt-exclusive
this will be done in a release titled 3.0.0, as it's a breaking change (breaks fabric compatibility)

requirements:

  • quilt versions of all fabric apis used in this project
  • quilt out of beta
  • curseforge quilt support

notes:
will migrate config to quilt config, avoiding breaking existing configs

im all for supporting multiple loaders, but making it exclusive is a huge mistake.

hi, since this issue's creation I've become an incredibly famous quilt developer, auteur of multiple blog posts, and as I advertise on my discord profile, their resident catgirl. that being said, since I work on quilt now, I have the inside scoop on everything. and thanks to that, I am absolutely certain quilt isn't going anywhere. so: I've accelerated the schedule here. all my mods will be quilt-only for their 1.21 releases! have fun trying quilt when you update :)

like i said, the issue isnt that you are supporting quilt. if anything, choice is a good thing. the issue is that you are making it exclusive, and therefor exclude a ton of people who would otherwise use your mods. currently i have no reason to switch to quilt, so i will simply replace your mods with alternatives. maybe one day quilt will overtake fabric, then i will switch as well. but as of right now, i dont see why i should bother switching. anyways, i wish you all the best!

the critical thing here: quilt supports fabric mods. there shouldn't be any issues for the average user when switching. I don't really see how I'm excluding people.
