I believe that, since we have an option to keep files after deleting a post, as a "just in case", we should have an admin script to restore them aswell. So far the only way I've found would be to create a new post, but I'm pretty sure that would copy the data and introduce useless stress on the server, especially when talking about videos.
Is there a way to "restore" the db entry for a post to the point it is functional and can be manually updated with the needed information? This way one could just leave the old file where it is and it would be way quicker.
