We are planning to automate the release related stuff and want to make it less panic.

We have rtMedia Plugin, Transcoder Plugin, Premium Add-ons and themes.

We release the rtMedia and transcoder on wp.org plugin repo and the developer is required to make this happen. For premium add-ons and themes, we upload the zip file on our store from the rtmedia.io site.

@mrrobot47 Please help us to make it automate through Github Actions. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Note: rtMedia is already configured with Github Actions.

There will be subtasks such as:

  • WordPress.org plugin deployment for public plugins and addons
  • For premium plugins and themes — deploying the new version to rtmedia.io using appropriate EDD API
  • For SaaS component — deploying Laravel app for transcoder
