Product idea 1: Roommate Group Chores

For large tasks such as cleaning the entire house, a group chore can be created, which has a location or multiple locations, with multiple slots for roommates to “sign up” for. For the house example. A chore would be created to clean the house. It would then have separate locations: downstairs bathroom, upstairs bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, etc. And then roommates can individually sign themselves up for each one in order to complete urgent large tasks together.

Product idea 2: Roommate Grocery List

For households of roommates who are generous enough to do grocery runs for one another. A roommate could announce a sort of “bill” or some new type which assigns them as the grocery shopper, and other roomates could add names of items or foods that they would like the person to get for them, and the shopper can then add costs that the other roommates will owe them from the total sum of their items. Think similar to how instacart works.
