Fuzzy Tools banner The Fuzzy Tools add-on is a collection of tools, heavily focused on efficiency and a quick workflow with a multi-camera scene in mind. Some of Fuzzy Tools was demonstrated during my BCON presentations:

Fuzzy Tools is specifically created for a fast EEVEE pipeline, but many aspects still work in Cycles.

Features

Some unique features that come with Fuzzy Tools:

  • Set up lights, camera, world and floor (shadow only) with just one or a few buttons
  • Use markers to enable/disable Motion Blur and change shutter time
  • Alt+M to Move Keyframes and Markers from the current frame, regardless of selection

Panels

Fuzzy Tools creates the following panels in the sidebar (N):

Quickly set up your scene, including:

  • Optimized camera(s)
  • Floor with shadow only
  • World shader with stylized background
  • Sunlight and rim light
  • Optimize EEVEE settings like AO, Shadows and Bloom in Legacy, or Ray Tracing in Next

Quick access to different viewport and hair settings, including:

  • Viewport Lens
  • Use Simplify
  • Hide/Unhide all Hair
  • Hair Type

Quick access to different camera settings and operators, including:

  • Selecting and changing Active Camera
  • Set Markers to animate Motion Blur and Shutter
  • Bind Camera to Markers

WARNING: Fuzzy Tools 3.0 will break elements created with older versions of Fuzzy Tools. Specifically, 'Fuzzy floor' and 'Fuzzy World'. These elements would have to be recreated for optimal results.

Fuzzy Tools is supported for blender 3.6 up to 4.2.
