There is an option to use symlinks for originals. It would be really nice if there was an option to use hardlinks for originals.

I am currently generating a gallery in which the source folder 100+ GB and growing.

The build folder is located inside a web server's web root (something like /var/www/mysite/htdocs) and the source folder is in something like /data/photos. So using symbolic links will not work as they are outside the scope of the web root folder.

My only option currently is to copy the 100+ GB. But it could just as easily be hardlinks which would work and save a significant amount of space as well as time to generate the gallery.

Ref #333, which lead to #359. Having a hard link option would be useful indeed.
