Issue triage

@sam1am - apologies for the issue bombardment, I might be able to take on some of them myself so when you get the chance, please go over them and let me know your thoughts (I'd prefer to have your blessing before working on implementation).

I realize some of them are probably not for the immediate future (like cloud API or rewriting everything in another language), but maybe you could introduce issue tags like "ready for implementation", "needs more discussion", "future enhancement for vNext" etc.

No worries and thanks for all your work and suggestions. I am working on the critical ones today and will release a new version then triage the rest. Watch for comments and I will definitely start tagging as suggested.

Thanks! For now I see you only tagged self-assigned issues and I don't want to step on your toes, so let me know when you tag anything you're not currently planning to take on (as an OK sign from you that other volunteers like me could work on it).
