Contributing to Ynote

We encourage the community to contribute to Ynote to make it more productive , extensibly and fast.

Hosting

Ynote is hosted jointly on Github and Codeplex. The Binary releases and old source code is all available on Codeplex. The Dev Build and Latest Source Code is hosted on Github.

Pull Requests

Pull Requests are actively welcomed

  1. Fork the repository and create your branch from master
  2. Update Changelog.txt
  3. Update the Documentation

Packages

Packages are collections of Resource Files used by ynote. The various resource files used by Ynote are -

  1. Color Schemes
  2. Snippets
  3. RunScripts (External Tools)
  4. Settings
  5. Plugins
  6. Commands (.ynotecommand)

Users are encouraged to share their color schemes, snippets etc. See http://github.com/samarjeet27/ynotepackages to share your package
