[Bug]: Flash light pulse does not work in edge lighting

Bug Description

The flashlight pulse option doesn't work with the edge lighting function. Tried both "screen off" and "while facing down" options toggled on and off, even though the qs flashlight function does work.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to edge lighting
2. Turn on flashlight pulse
3. Turn screen off and recieve notification
4. No pulse happens

Expected Behavior

flashlight should pulse when notification is recieved when the device is facing downwards.

Please share a bug report, I think it could be the same case here as VIVO where the OS is too agressive on killing apps and saving power to the point where basic functions like starting background services.

Don't think its an "Don't kill my app" problem since the edge lighting function works completely fine even after restarting the phone. Is sharing the bug report through the app itself? Just a bit confused.

Ohh I thought neither worked... So it's just the flashlight pulse is broken right? I think this must be because your device does not support adjusting flashlight intensity. I only got Pixels to test the app which supports the feature. I got an old Android 11 device lying around with which I will see if I can replicate this issue and find a fix if possible.

Still if possible, please go into the app settings, at top, use the bug report button and preferably share a bug report on mail if possible mentioning this issue, I'll take a look.

That's probably it, I'll try it on another phone I have with flashlight intensity. It's probably best to mention it there or just have a simple flashlight pulse option without utilizing the intensity function. I'll do the bug report. Great app you got here btw, never would've though that screen overlays would work over AODs.

Yeap.... Currently installing crDroid on a phone that's not being used so I can test it... Hope it doesn't support flashlight intensity.
