[Bug]: Maps power saving mode strict to language

Bug Description

Maps power saving mode does not work on my device (OnePlus 11).
I allowed permission to listen to notification (specifically restricted the permission to maps then extended to google services as well trying to solve the issue).
Installed latest version of Shizuku (v13.6) and started shizuku without to much problem, granted shizuku permission to essentials.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start navigation session in maps
2. Turning the screen off by locking the phone

Expected Behavior

Expected to have maps in power saving mode.

I'm not that familiar with Shizuku so issue could also come from me but Shizuku does not display any errors.

When you turn the display back on, does the Google maps navigation appear over your lock screen?

Yes, it does.
It appears in color (so not in Power saving mode I would assume) over my locked screen. I tried disabling always on display but it didn't change anything.

Can you share a bug report? I think it will help a lot here or did you already because I received one recently on mail.

That is fine and looks ok to me, by any change, you use the device with your own language not English?

Yes, I use it in my own language. I have however changed the language of the essentials and shizuku app in English (not maps though).

Ye, that's the issue... I will look for a fix soon to find a better way of doing navigation detection. :)

Just for information,

I changed my phone language to English and restarted it. Reconnected with shizuku and toggled on the maps power saving mode.

Maps still has the same issues: locking the screen with the power button blacks out the screen and does not trigger the display of maps power saving mode (regardless if always-on-display is on or off).

Waking up the screen does overlay maps on the lock screen but without the power saving mode (just regular maps).

I will add that shizuku asked to disable permission monitoring in developer options (issue known with OnePlus devices).

For the rest I haven't had any out of the ordinary behaviour.
