App lock to skip confirmation after face unlock

Could you make app lock to skip confirmation after unlocking with face on pixel 8 and above if possible.

Unfortunately what biometric features that the device allow for app authentication actually is not controllable for us. It allows whatever the methods available with Class3 security. Unfortunately AFAIK, face unlock on these devices at least until 9 series are not Class 3 so we can't use it. (It should be the same as using for payment app authentication).

Technically we can do by manually implementing our own ML integration to view and scan the camera feed but it's not something practical tho. Because of this, I got no plans for implementing it at the moment due to Android not allowing low security unlock features.

Not a developer so don't know much about the actual function however just to make sure I conveyed the issue properly I have attached screenshot from both pixel 7 and pixel 9. Pixel 7 would only be authenticated with fingerprint and pixel 9 could use face unlock as well and it is a class 3. However after authentication of face unlock pixel 9 would doesn't directly let me in and ask me to confirm. I saw in Google that this additional confirmation can be disabled by developer. Pasting what Google gave me below. If it is indeed possible kindly consider making it false so it app lock is even more seamless.

1. What is this feature?
   In Android development, this behavior is controlled by the setConfirmationRequired() method within the BiometricPrompt API.
   With Confirmation (Default): The user must tap a "Confirm" button after their face is recognized. This safeguards high-security actions (like Google Pay) so that merely looking at your phone doesn't accidentally authorize a payment.
   Without Confirmation: The app unlocks immediately upon facial recognition. This is typically used for lower-risk convenience features, like opening WhatsApp or a gallery.
2. Developer Implementation (How to remove the button)
   To make your app scan and open immediately (like WhatsApp), you must set the setConfirmationRequired flag to false when building your biometric prompt.

Important Developer Caveats
It is a "Hint": The setConfirmationRequired(false) flag is treated as a suggestion. The Android system may ignore it if:
The user has explicitly enabled "Always require confirmation" in their phone's system settings.
The system determines the biometric modality or security context requires explicit confirmation.
Security Best Practice: Google recommends keeping confirmation ON (true) for sensitive transactions (payments, changing passwords) to ensure the user explicitly intends to proceed. Use false only for general app access.

Ohhh I see, I will check the confirmation check. I can't actually remember what I set, will check again later and if possible , will update it.
