Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We pledge to make participation in the WomenHomeWorkout project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language: Being polite and considerate in communications.
  • Respecting differing viewpoints and experiences: Listening to and valuing diverse perspectives.
  • Graciously accepting constructive criticism: Being open to feedback and making improvements.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community: Prioritizing the well-being and progress of the project and its users.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members: Understanding and being considerate of others' feelings and situations.

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • Using sexualized language or imagery: Engaging in inappropriate sexual comments or actions.
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal attacks: Making inflammatory, rude, or offensive remarks.
  • Public or private harassment: Intentionally targeting individuals with harassment or abuse.
  • Publishing others' private information: Sharing personal information without consent.
  • Any conduct that is harmful or disruptive: Engaging in actions that impede the project or harm individuals within the community.

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for:

  • Clarifying acceptable behavior standards: Ensuring that the community is aware of and understands these guidelines.
  • Taking corrective action: Addressing any instances of unacceptable behavior appropriately and fairly.
  • Removing, editing, or rejecting contributions: Managing content and interactions that do not adhere to the Code of Conduct.
  • Banning users if necessary: Implementing temporary or permanent bans for severe breaches of conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to:

  • Project spaces: All communication and interactions within project-related platforms, including issue trackers, forums, and chat rooms.
  • Public spaces: Any public interactions that involve representing the project or its community, such as social media and conferences.

Enforcement

To report any incidents of unacceptable behavior:

  1. Contact the project team: Reach out via email at conduct@womenhomeworkout.com. Provide as much detail as possible.
  2. Confidentiality: Reports will be handled with confidentiality to protect the privacy of all involved parties.
  3. Response: The project team will review and investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the community.
