Thx for sharing the project and code, and sry for bothering you with what is more a support-request than a software-issue.

I ran into this project in search for a clear and optimal workflow for getting documents from paper to paperless ngx.

My favorite approach is to collect/stack documents, put them on the ADF tray of the scanner and then produce the documents (typically between three and ten per run) from there.

In the simple form putting SPLITT barcode/qr-pages in between is sufficient, if adding individal barcode-stickers with preproduced ASN-Numbers do make things better, that would be fine as welll, also it seems not really necessary to me to start with.

Is this doable with this project? If so, do you have some guideance on what needs to be done to get it working?

I've tried different toggles and approaches. None of them gave me the result that I was looking for (being prompted for documents, barcode/qrcodes not beeing detected resulting in only one final document for paperless-ngx).

Hello,
Yes, I think that's possible, in the first time (especially if it's a one - shot import) you should modify the scan command to detect the QR-code, and separate the document between folders.
On each folder, you will put the same config YAML to expect the sources files to be included.
