Obsidian

Install Methods

Obsidian Marketplace (Recommended)

1. Open the Settings in Obsidian
2. Navigate to Appearances tab under Options
3. Under the Themes section, click on the Manage button across from Themes
4. Search for Dark Castle in the Filter text input
5. Click Use and then you're done! 🎉

Manually

1. Download this repo using the GitHub .zip download option and unzip them
2. Navigate to your vault's /.obsidian/themes directory (hidden folder)
   • or select the folder icon in Themes in step 4. above
3. Create a new folder called Dark Castle in the /.obsidian/themes directory
4. Copy the theme.css file into the Dark Castle folder.
5. Open the Settings in Obsidian
6. Navigate to Appearances tab under Options
7. Under the Themes section, click on the dropdown menu next to Theme heading
8. Select Dark Castle and then you're done! 🎉
   • If you do not see it, restart Obsidian and try looking for it again on the dropdown menu

Note

• Inside Settings → Appearances, under Base color scheme, ensure Dark is selected; you can then view or search for Dark Castle under Manage.
• If you have Adapt to system selected, ensure your device is using Dark Mode, or else you will not find the theme since its a Dark only theme.
