First Steps

Your issue may already have been solved. Here are a few things you can do to make sure your issue is unique.

  • Search to see if the issue has already been reported. You can add additional information to an existing report that may help to resolve the issue.
  • Make sure you are using the latest version of our software as your issue may already have been resolved in a later update.

Reporting Your Issue

When reporting an issue, please provide the following information to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible:

  • Name of SDC tool used
  • Version of SDC tool used
  • Other software installed

Please label your issue, using one of the following labels:

mu-Argus search mu-Argus related
sdcMicro search sdcMicro related
sdcMicroGUI search sdcMicroGUI related
tau-Argus search tau-Argus related
sdcTable search sdcTable related

You can add one or more of the following labels for further specification:

Label name 🔎 sdcTools Description
enhancement search Feature requests (wish list)
bug search Confirmed bugs or reports that are very likely to be bugs
question search Questions more than bug reports or feature requests (e.g. how do I do X)
feature search Questions on existent features and functionalities rather than issues or workings of the user-interface

It is recommended to insert screenshots or (small) data files to clarify your issues. This can be done by dragging your picture file or data file and drop it at the right position in the text window.

The sdcTools core team might add one or more of the following labels:

Label name 🔎 sdcTools Description
duplicate search Issues which are duplicates of other issues, i.e. they have been reported before
help-wanted search The sdcTools core team would appreciate help from the community in resolving these issues
invalid search Issues which aren't valid (e.g. user errors)
wontfix search The sdcTools core team has decided not to fix these issues for now, either because they're working as intended or for some other reason
low-priority search The sdcTools core team considers the issues of lower priority than other reported issues
medium-priority search The sdcTools core team considers the issues of medium importance compared to other reported issues
high-priority search The sdcTools core team considers the issues of higher priority than other reported issues
needs-discussion search These issues need discussion among members of the sdcTools core team before it can be fixed
