md2pdf - Markdown to PDF Converter Service

md2pdf is a utility for converting .md (Markdown) files into rendered PDF files, using a LaTeX template. It runs as a web service, so that multiple users can connect and consistently generate PDFs using the exact same LaTeX configuration.

Pandoc and XeLaTeX are used to achieve this.

Client application

It's suggested to use the md2pdf-client application to send requests to this server. See the link for more details.

Markdown Editor

For editing Markdown files, a program called Abricotine is suggested. You can find it at its GitHub homepage. Arbicotine makes it easy to see what formatting would be applied to your Markdown source, without distracting the user with options of font and size etc. Then, using this service, the Markdown file can be rendered into a beautiful, professional PDF document.
