Ambient Light Profiles Not Working, Ambient Flickering - ASUS ROG Strix G16 G615JMR

Hey guys,
I recently upgraded to a Strix G16 G615JMR, and I've been having a lot of issues with the lighting profiles.
The main issue is that when I use the ambient light setting, the colour changes accurately, but it flickers in varying frequencies whenever the colour changes, even a slight change in colour causes this.
Also, most of the light profiles that are supposed to be available, namely Star, Rain, Highlight, Ripple, Comet, and Flash, have zero effect. I can select them, both using the F4 hotkey and the gHelper menu, but it just doesn't change the lighting at all.

Any ideas on what might be causing this? I've made sure to uninstall Armory Crate and the recommended ASUS software, but I still have Hotplug Controller, Monitor Control, and MS control installed. I'm not sure if any of these have an effect- I know close to nothing about computer software.

@ReesieK hello,

Do you have pery-key-RGB or 4-zone RGB on your unit? Most likely all other modes you mention are simply not supported by firmware (you likely didn't have then in Armoury Crate as well then?)

As for Ambient - how did it work in AC ?

Actually, using Armoury Crate, I couldn't change my RGB at all- I would go into Aura Sync and Aura Effects, and clicking the options there (Screenshot) didn't make any changes to RGB. I remember using the Aura hotkey did seem to work, but only switched between 4 pretty basic options (I think it might have been Static, Strobe, etc).

If you didn't see them in AC, likely they are not supported at all (and can't be a added)

Yep, that build seems to have fixed it! Ambient isn't flickering anymore either. Thanks so much!
Just one other question- does ambient mode not have support for the laptop lightbar that goes around the bottom chassis? It currently doesn't light up in ambient mode, but does on other modes- on my old Strix, it did, but I'm not sure if this one has support or if its a GHelper error. This might have nothing to do with GHelper, so if you're not sure please feel free to just say so. Thanks so much again for the incredibly quick responses.

@ReesieK I don't know, there is a good chance lightbar is not included in 4-zone RGB atm.

Good Morning-
I'm having a small issue with gHelper- that build you linked me worked great, but every time I restart or shut down my computer, it seems to revert back to the old edition with flickering light issues, etc. Reinstalling it from the link you sent always fixes it. I've made sure I'm extracting the zip before installing too.
The other issue is, I reinstalled Armoury crate and it actually did work, I just had to select it in Aura Sync first- and with Armory crate, the 360 degree lightbar does have support for Ambient mode.

You likely have other version scheduled to run on startup. Just replace that build, or uncheck/check Run on Startup to point to current exe location.
