Sometimes kernel thermal module gets upset as invalid temperature gets read from EC registry.

Nov 18 20:05:22 rnetl98 kernel: [16465.191041] thermal thermal_zone0:
  critical temperature reached(243 C),shutting down

Of course there is nothing (yet) to prove that this is caused by lenovo-yoga-fan-control but at least it started occurring after I start using it. Also 243C is impossible because all sensors show only +5C warmer temperatures with lenovo-yoga-fan-control than using default EC fan control routine.

Maybe switch to lm-sensors to obtain current temperature will help.
