One issue I see with setting override like this is that if user open ddraw.ini, he sees some settings, and expects them to apply, but they don't. It may get confusing. Maybe instead we could also update actual ddraw.ini based on mod setting overrides, respecting mod load order? |

When mod needs to override some sfall settings, it has to be distributed with an installer that does this, or instruct users to do it manually (and users may screw things up badly). The only fail safe system is to check and override ddraw.ini settings from an SSL script when starting or loading a game, which isn't perfect (requires user to quit and restart the game).
