I have been thinking of trying to fork opencascade.js, to create more up to date builds (the bones to make it possible seem to be there). But the kind of work (C++ compilation pipeline) is not my strong suit and feels more like punishment than fun work. So yes and maybe. If someone in the community feels like doing that work (i.e. providing me with the same kind of docker container that are produced now) I would love to use it! |

I noticed that opencascade.js is currently based in Open Cascade 7.6.2 which was released back in 2021.
Doesn't seem like opencascade.js is maintained much anymore.
Open Cascade is currently at version 7.8.0, with some nice changes that improve the performance and stability of the kernel. Particularly there are some improvements to the offset algorithm that I'd hope reduce the amount of kernel errors one gets when using replicad.
Wonder if you've had some thoughts about replacing opencascade.js to be able to benefit from more recent releases of Open Cascade?
