It's been a while since the last release. However Shiika has gotten a few big features in the latter half of this year:

• Enums
• Optional type (Maybe)
• Basic pattern match

Before making a new release, I'm working on some big refactorings.

• Split the compiler into several Rust crates (done)
• Refactoring code about type system (WIP)

Next year's plan:

• Modules (like Ruby's Enumerable, etc.)
• Type inference (of type arguments and block parameters)
• More stdlib (File, etc.)
