Hi, maybe you want to check out my latest WSL-related project:
https://github.com/59de44955ebd/wslX

It's basically a X-server for Windows/WSL that supports drag-and-dropping files/folders from Windows explorer to Linux GUI app windows, but also adds a few other features like e.g. dark window titlebars and menus.
