Functionality overview

The MyData Agency is a solution that enables the individual end-users to consent organizations with access their personal monitoring information. MyData Agency allows organizations to provide their customers with secure communication channel, rich consenting capabilities and control over their data.

With MyData Agency, individuals can

1. Subscribe their data services, (e.g. sensor APIs)
2. Connect with organizations using the Indy protocols
3. Receive Authentication credentials from an authentication service
4. Issue a consent credential for fetching personal data from data services
5. Revoke the previously issued credential

The organization's Agent does not have a user interface, instead it employs webhooks and APIs to control the workflows.

By integrating Enterprise Agent with their IT-systems, organizations can

1. Have a direct, secure communication channel with their customers and employees
2. Request machine-readable, human-understandable consent from individuals to retrieve, store and access their personal data
3. React to events, like new consent credentials, and revocation of consent to automatically enable and disable data transfer pipelines and execute consent-processes
