For vocabs with many languages, the current approach has reached its limits, see e.g. https://w3id.org/kim/hcrt/scheme:

One solution woul be to have the language tags in one row if the browser window size allows it.

what about this simple approach: just remove the CSS width property for the language-menu here

this looks already much better:
