Any suggestions on a way to run local copies on each developers machine without conflict?

I have a working session coming up and have a bot using slacker (wrapped up go-slack) in socketmode.
I want each person to be able to run a local debug copy and have it by default limited to a specific channel so:

• the main actual deployed bot is still running and listening...
• exclude designated channels from any reaction, such as #tmp-bot-testing-001, and then the developer can run go run main.go -testmode channelid which would just be listening to one channel.

Any suggestion or am I better served on trying to generate test bot manifests instead and getting everyone one of those?

So based on docs found, messages are distributed round robin based on the app/bot token connected, so even if I could disable commands in certain apps, it would swallow the execution on different versions. Instead I need each one to have it's own app registration. Closing as answered.
