Hi all,

I am starting to use spiderfoot and playing around. It works quite well so far, but not I am not able to export the scan results in excel format. It works for scan with not much data (like around 300-600 results), but it failes if there are, for example, 3000 elements.

I started the server wie debug enabled and try to understand the code. But I am currently not able to find the error.

The scans are all started with "footprinting" option.

Please, support me to bring back the excel export for scans with a bit more data.

I have tried the stable release and the development version.

Same issue here - you get this worked out?

Is this issue for a single scan download or multiple?

Also, could you give an example search if it was for a single one?

@AlienTFrost Sorry for the late response. I was busy with other things and travelling in areas where the internet is not yet so readily available.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a workaround. The export function does not seem to exist on the CLI and as the topic is unfortunately not highly prioritised internally, I have not made any progress in reviewing the code.

@arin17bishwa I simply entered a domain that I wanted to search. I am currently creating a profile for my employer, who owns various domains. For other domains, the export works without any problems. I suspect that it has something to do with the amount of information. I have not yet found a system for this.
