Can't use template variables on Link

Hi, i can't add any of the template variables defined in the dashboard.

I want to do it like in the dashboards, with the option of links, so I can have dynamic links and navigate to the different dashboards that represent each traffic light $

Not sure if its is a bug or is because this functionality is not implemented.
