No, it's not abandoned. I'll have updates as soon as I can. |
@soatok gnu/linux system hobbyist here. just wanted to say thanks for what you do for encryption! if you happen to have any small, simple noob tasks, I may be able to help |
Thanks for the confirmation its not abandoned, I will keep my eyes on this project as it evolves! Thanks for all the work you are doing here soa! |
Might want to check this article. It’s an interesting pattern: https://medium.com/@TalBeerySec/the-ambassador-protocol-multi-device-e2ee-with-privacy-5c906a2d210a |
The next step in this project is actually being developed as a distinct, standalone component: https://github.com/fedi-e2ee/public-key-directory-specification "Federated PKI" -> "Public Key Directory" I will revisit this project once that one is closer to complete, because how this project will use it is interesting. |
Hi, I am working on a project which would require E2EE for ActivityPub and stumbled accross this. I know its early drafts, but the last commit seems to have been on 30 January 2023 -- over a year ago. I wanted to ask if this is being worked on (and thus could be used in the future) or if its an abandoned project and I should look elsewhere.
Thanks in advance!
